NLC India CMD bags innovative leadership award

Hyderabad: NLC India Ltd, a navratna company under the Ministry of Coal, said its Chairman and Managing Director, M Prasanna Kumar has received the Best CEO Corporate Management Innovative Leadership Excellence Award 2023 – 24, organised at the 24th annual Geominetech International Symposium held at Bhubaneswar recently.
Under the leadership of Prasanna Kumar, the company is marching with confidence in achieving the set targets, the Company said in an official release. During FY 2023-24, the company achieved an ever-highest coal and lignite production of 36 MT. The company aims to reach 100 MTPA of mining capacity by 2030 from the current 50 MTPA level.
Prasanna Kumar, a Gold Medalist in Mechanical Engineering and MBA in four disciplines, has created a positive outlook about the company in the industry through various initiatives. Under his leadership, the company has achieved breakthroughs in land acquisition and sustainability initiatives at Mines.
